Across our programs, LNYP integrates strategies to put resources and decision-making into women’s hands, while targeting social norms and structural barriers that limit women’s choices and freedom.

We pride our self by focusing mostly on providing our targeted beneficiaries with more of practical skills that prepares them to compete in the working space and enables them to successful establish their own businesses for their sustainable livelihood purposes .

Our economic empowerment programs have been re-aligned and designed to reduce the impact of COVID-19 and help poor households to escape poverty and respond to socioeconomic challenges. Our Vision is carried out through our partnership and collaboration with individuals and organizations that shares same vison with our organisation.

Having realised that unemployment is the main contributor towards other unwanted social ills in townships; we have developed programs that cater for unemployed graduates who have never been exposed into a working environment and also those young people who have dropped out of schools.

Our programs are designed to have a direct impact on the following:
  • Strengthen household incomes by supporting beneficiaries to establish and run their own income generating initiatives.
  • Developing the skills and capacity needed to successful grow and expand their informal businesses to a sustained ones.
  • Provision of relevant skills that help beneficiaries to improve their production and profits through stronger market linkages.
  • Prepare beneficiaries to be employable with knowledge to retain their employment.
  • Changing their mind-sets and influence them to collectively contribute in fighting social ills in their communities.
